League Sports. They are obviously all great so it was hard to determine an order.
Softball. It's got to be the best. It’s the perfect sport because when you are not in the field you’ve got some nice shade and benches to sit on so you can cool down. It’s also good because not everyone plays baseball so it’s usually a bit more fair-no team has a tremendous edge over the other.
Newcomb/Volleyball. This is from the perspective of a junior and, therefore, has not played volleyball but boy do I like Newcomb. The fact that there is a break in the middle and water fountain is good, but this is the sport that your team can really show off its teamwork. It’s also fun because you're throwing a ball back and forth, who doesn't like that?
Kickball/Football. Now, I have played both of these sports and really liked them. Kickball is for similar reasons as softball but I like a bat and the sand better because sometimes when it rains and you get kickball and it’s terrible. Football is good because of the adrenaline and the well thought outplays. It’s kind of intricate and I like that.
Basketball. This one will be controversial because basketball is great but to the people who don’t play basketball in school, it’s usually not as fun, dropping it in the rankings.
Soccer. I think it is the best sport at home, but not at camp. Parsonsfield tends to get hot and all of the running up and down the field and the cramps give it it’s last-place ranking.
Waterfront Activities. I didn’t put any land activities because waterfront is for the water.
Old-timers dock fun. I love this because of the variation of what you can do. If you want to swim you can go in the water, if you want to do tricks into the water you can go on the water slide, and if you don’t want to go in the water you can play water baseball. Its the best activity.
Free swim/Bongo. For the same reasons as old-timers dock, you can swim or go on the bongo and play king of the hill. All of it is awesome.
Tubing. The only reason tubing isn’t first is because of the recent change that you can’t free swim while it’s not your shift anymore. The reason that I like it is that it’s so fun trying to hold on while getting whipped around. Everyone loves hanging by only the tips of your fingers and pulling yourself back up.
Kennard’s. It’s gotta be up there with free swim but when you only have half Kennard’s it takes so long to walk there and back and that really cuts back at your time in the water. With that benign said, I really like the shallowness of the water and chilling at the rock pile.
Water skiing/Gaga. Water Skiing makes the list for similar reasons to tubing. Gaga is a great second activity period activity to cool down after going in the water and the games are always fun and intense.
